Questions about tara preparation

  • Is TARA the same as the TSA?

No. TARA is the test used for relevant Oxford courses for 2027 entry. Legacy TSA material can be useful supplementary practice, and we label it clearly as legacy when we use it.

  • What does TARA include?

Critical thinking, problem solving and a writing task. Always check the current official specification for your course and entry year.

  • Do I have to take TARA for my course?

Requirements are set by course and entry year. Check the official Oxford admissions-tests page and your course page before booking preparation.

  • Is coaching required by the test owner?

No. The test owner does not require tuition. Preparation is optional practice, and free official materials are available to everyone.

  • Will you tell me my likely score?

No. We track your timed practice honestly and will not invent pass marks or predictions.

  • Can you prepare me for TMUA, ESAT, STEP, LNAT or UCAT?

Not yet. Those are listed as later-phase services and will only be published once a real provider and current official source checks are in place.

  • How early should I start?

Most students benefit from six to ten weeks of timed practice before the test date. Confirm your own dates from the official source.

  • Philosophy and reasoning tuition

Argument analysis, precise writing and structured reasoning for philosophy papers and admissions-style thinking tasks.

  • Oxbridge application support

Preparation for the additional stages of an Oxford or Cambridge application, with honest limits and no claimed relationships.

  • Mathematics tuition

Careful, method-first mathematics teaching that repairs foundations and then builds speed and accuracy.
